Dr. Lisa Gardner is a renowned board-certified & surgically trained physician who has been in practice for nearly 20 years. While working in corporate health care for many years, Dr. Lisa grew dissatisfied with the increased emphasis on prescription drugs.
New laws in Texas have made medical cannabis treatment accessible to millions of Texans for the first time, and Dr. Lisa and her husband Trey Phillips are trailblazing the way forward for adoption in the state. Together, with their CBD oil company Welcel and CBD storefront Thrive Apothecary, they are on a mission to help as many people as possible get access to the medicinal benefits of cannabis.

Kristi graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, obtaining her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing. She has an extensive background in psychiatry as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner. Kristi understands the importance of mental health and is passionate about empowering others to live healthier and more fulfilling lives. She is knowledgeable and ready to assist you on your journey with medical cannabis.

Cal Wade Graves, 43, passed Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
Cal Graves was a dedicated medical cannabis clinician within the Thrive family. Cal touched the lives of thousands of our patients across the State of Texas. His gentle and caring demeanor put patients at ease. Cal gave patients a voice to advocate for themselves and their own health.
Cal is survived by his wife and two young children. The Thrive family is devastated at Cal’s unexpected passing, and we will always feel his absence.

His transition from law enforcement to his role as President at Thrive Medical Cannabis has been marked by dedication to providing quality plant-based medical alternatives to the Dallas-Fort Worth community. In his personal life, Trey is a dedicated family man with four children and has a passion for outdoor activities and physical fitness, such as weightlifting, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, road biking, and hiking.
